Christine Corbett Biography:

From "Skyscraper Wean" to the Flower of Scotland

Christine grew up in Glasgow as a "skyscraper wean" in the famous Red Road Flats in the North of the city. 


With a natural flare for performance, dance and the arts, she began her film career in 2014 with an award-winning appearance in the BAFTA celebrated short "The Inescapable Arrival of Lazlo Petuski", and as a series regular on BBC soap "River City". 


Recently, she has appeared on screen with Julie Walters in "Wild Rose", Glenn Close in "The Wife". She is also presenter for Bad Pony Media and Braw TV Scotland's "The Authors Series" and "Classically British", and was a special guest alongside Whoopi Goldberg and M.J. Martin on "The Hollywood Insights" podcast. She is set to appear in the leading role of "Maggie" in the hotly anticipated "Rude" directed by Frank McGowan, with a cameo alongside other famous faces from Scotland in his horror feature film "Evening of the Dead". 


Christine is passionate about Scotland, mental health and fashion, and supports a number of local charities and events - including Ayrshire Hospice. In 2018 Christine travelled to Cambodia as a volunteer to help preserve the elephants and build a school for local children in the community.


Her hobbies include; cold water swimming, power walking, ballroom dancing, Pilates and Hollywood film history from the golden age of cinema. Her favourite actors include Doris Day, Dean Martin and "The Ratpack".


Christine currently lives in Ayrshire near the beach.
